biography
Hello - My name is Stephen Wassather!
I was born and raised in Sacramento, California, where I attended Jesuit High School. After 6 years of competitive cycling, including racing collegiately for UC Santa Cruz, I was no longer passionate about bikes, so I started running instead just to keep in shape. Well, it's been an adventure, to say the least! Since I began running 4 years ago, I have completed over 20 ultramarathons, have buckled at two 100 milers, and have consistently podiumed in my age group.
For me, running is more than a sport; it's a lifestyle.

credentials & Athletic Highlights
In my first year of running, I won multiple ultramarathons, set a course record, and went sub-24 hours at my first 100 miler in Vermont. I am sponsored by Hoka One One as an ultrarunning ambassador, and I recently won the 2014 PAUSATF Ultra Grand Prix, 20-29 age group.
